April has more than 20 years of international sales and marketing experience in a wide range of diverse markets from Chile to Japan and a lot of places in between. She worked at The Coca-Cola Company for 6 years and before that, Diageo as well as a number of marketing leadership roles on both agency and client side.
April joined Kerry Foods 3 years ago as Marketing Director for the Irish business and was promoted to Chief Marketing Officer after one year, with responsibility for the company's priority brands across GB, Ireland and continental Europe. These brands include: Cheestrings, Denny, Dairygold, Low Low, Galtee, Richmond, Mattessons and Wall's (Sausage and Sausage Rolls not the Ice Cream!)
She has a broad knowledge of business and a strong track record for delivering sustainable revenue growth through expertise in marketing, innovation, and an incisive understanding of consumer needs. In 2013 so far, April and her team have a received a number of prestigious awards including 2 Cannes Lions Awards and 2 All Ireland Marketing Awards for breakthrough work done in the areas of Integrated and International Marketing, Advertising, and Social Media.
