RTÉ Media Sales commissioned Nielsen Analytic Consulting to undertake research highlighting the importance of continuing to invest in advertising media in the Republic of Ireland for Irish Advertisers as it contributes in a positive way to their bottom line.

As well as highlighting that TV is the most important element in the media mix, it demonstrates that it is just as important to ensure that your TV spend is on channels actively targeting viewers in the Republic of Ireland. Relying on a spill-over effect from UK channels is an inefficient and ineffective way to market to consumers in Ireland.
